The name Moomin Baby Snap Pants was developed alongside a careful product development process, evolving through several stages. When choosing the name, emphasis was placed on distinctiveness, uniqueness, and ease of pronunciation. It was also ensured that the name would work smoothly in international markets. Based on consumer research, the name reflects the concept of a completely new kind of pant diaper and conveys the image of an innovative product previously unseen in the diaper market. At our diaper factory in Tammisaari — the only one in Finland — the name Snap Pants has already gained the affectionate nickname “Snäppärit.”
