Moomin Baby diapers differ from a regular disposable diaper in many ways, except for their absorbency. The biggest differences are, for example, the choice of raw materials, as all diapers are made from many different materials. The raw materials used in Moomin Baby diapers are carefully selected and meet the criteria of the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and the Allergy, Skin and Asthma Federation. The source of energy used in the production is renewable since we use mainly solar energy and certified hydroelectric power. The heat generated in the production process is used to heat the production hall. The third major difference is the management of production waste; all waste is either recycled if possible or incinerated for energy.
Moomin Baby diapers are manufactured taking into account the life cycle of the product from an environmental point of view, from the production of raw materials to the production of the diapers, the energy sources used, wholesale logistics and waste management.
